South-Eastern Islands

Although one of the most mellow and least commercialised regions in Bali, the South-Eastern Islands has recently boomed in popularity among tourists. In the past, these islands were a hub for shack-staying surfers, until the likes of Nusa Lembongan, Nusa Penida and Nusa Ceningan have evolved to accommodate intrigued Australian travellers. While these islands remain true to their stripped-back and relaxed atmosphere, restaurants and other tourism hotspots are quickly erecting. Making for true paradise, these islands are nestled away from the hustle and bustle of South Bali. Surrounded by crystal-clear waters, surfing, diving, snorkeling and other water activities are almost unparalleled in Bali’s South-Eastern Islands.
